Christmas {{Goodies}}

Do you like simplicity?  I do.  ESPECIALLY around this time of the year.  :)  Last weekend we had a celebration for the more mature people at our church.  We had a fabulous dinner out to honor them.  We wanted to make some goodies they could each have and a place card!  (LOVE when things serve more than one purpose!)  I had every intention of making some very sweet tags and attaching them to these goodie bags, BUT I went with simple and used some dollar store gift tags! LOL

Happy {Belated} Thanksgiving!

Hello all my crafty friends!

 I feel like a stranger. It has been MONTHS since I have posted anything.  I went back to teaching this past year after taking a year off, and it has been SUCH an adjustment!! :)  All good though!  I have been crafting...A LOT!  With the excitement of going back to school and getting a new puppy, things have been sort of hectic! hahahahaha

So without further ramblings lets get to the project at hand.  I found the cutest fabric for some placemats at JoAnns, of course.  I JUST. HAD. TO. HAVE. IT. <----all you crafters know that feeling! LOL

                   This is one side.. I would say top, but we alternated one side to the next around the table

This is the two contrasted together.  It really came out just as I had envisioned it.

Rarely the case with me!! :)   

I used some crib batting, all cotton, to put between the fabrics.

Now to start working on my Christmas ones!
