Hello all!!

I covered the edge of the lid with hemp twine

Covered the lid with some matching paper
and loaded it with Starburst...cause he's a STAR dad!

Here's the matching card!!

Both gifts together
(LOVE this paper stack)

To make this I used:

Cartridge ~ Plantin Schoolbook for Star and Accent Essentials for label
Paper ~ DCWV Guy Stack
Stamp ~ PKS Everyday face assortment
Misc ~ sentiment from Guy Stack; Ranger Distress Tea Dye along the edges; Hemp Twine from SU; Stickers for dad from my stash; Gelly roll pen for eye feature.

This came out amazing! Love the way you made all the personalized items and the TARHEEL ACCENTS were the best (considering I am Tarheel alumni myself!). Great job.

We are having a great week over at Cooking With Cricut this week!  If you haven't heard yet this week we are creating projects to celebrate our 2nd anniversary!  If you want to know more about all the goodies you can win and the freebies you get daily, head on over to CWC to enter for your chance to win.  You also get a peek at what the DT has been up to and perhaps get some serious inspiration!

Today's theme was Lace, ruffles, or bows.  I have been really inspired to start/ finish scrapbooks for my kids.  I am always making cards and other stuff why not throw in my scrapbook pages.  I have ALL of my pictures organized, so thats half the battle right?! LOL (actually picking paper is for me...of course AFTER picture organization LOL)

LOVE the sheer ribbon and "lace" punched look!

Believe it or not but this paper is from MME School! LOVE the way it looks!

To make this I used:

My gypsy to size the photo mats, journal tag, and the phrase

Cart ~ Sugar and Spice
Misc. ~ Sticky ribbon (from Big Lots a couple of years ago), MS Lace punch, ribbon from my stash, studio g flower, and twine.

Happy Resurrection Day!

Hey all my crafty peeps!!  I hope you are having a great midweek so far!

Today at Cooking With Cricut we are celebrating one of my favorite holidays...Resurrection Day.  I know, most of us call it Easter.  Whatever you call it is JUST fine.  I want the day to be about remembering Christ's resurrection.  If it were not for this momentous occasion, how would I, or you, be able to go to Heaven?  Not only did Jesus, our Lord and Savior, die on the cross for our sins; He overcame death with his bodily resurrection.  We serve a RISEN Savior!

For my Sunday School class, I put together a goodie bag and a card for each of them.  I thought it would be prudent to put a verse on the card rather than a punny saying.  I think it is very fitting for what we have been learning in class.  Plus, it came out SUPER cute!!

Here is a picture with the goodie bag in the back and the card!

Isn't the lamb CUTE??!!

To make this card I used:
Cart ~ Everday Paper Dolls for the grass
Digi Stamp ~ Lamb from PCW (Lamb I Love You set~ They have another cute lamb as a cutting file too)
Paper ~ DCWV Pocket Full of Posies
Sentiment ~ computer generated
Misc ~ Recollection's Banana flock for the lamb; Enamel accents (black) for the hooves; Pink and white gelly roll pens for the lamb; twine from The Twinery;

Now it's your turn!!

Link up your project to the Cooking With Cricut challenge post.  There are some guidelines.

Girly Sweet 16 album

Hello my bloggy friends and welcome to Michelle's Crafty Creations.

Today I wanted to show you an album I made for my niece's upcoming 16th birthday.  She told me she liked certain colors and I tried to implement them all. (You will see a post later this week with her decorations)  For this, I wanted to create something more personal so she could capture her special day.  She will be celebrating a little later than her birthday so her dad who is deployed will be there.  A special day it will be in deed.

I used the Sweet Treats and Create a Critter Cricut cartridge for this album.  All of this was created on my Gypsy.  (This album was made from empty Freschetta Pizza boxes double layered)

Close up of the front.  The flower was curled and had skittles added to it.  "Sweet" was inked with Ranger Distress: Tea Dye.

(backside of front cover)

Photo mat or journaling.  Whichever she chooses along with a hidden tag.  Stampin Up mini library clip with some twine from The Twinery to grasp the tag.  Brown buttons to give it a finishing touch.

Card feature from Sweet treats to add a photo matt and possible journaling.  Twine from The Twinery and button to add some fun to the number one.
Back side of first page.

Last Page.
Journal tags with hidden photo matts.

I used My Big Bite Crop-A-Dile to punch holes and added binder rings to complete it.  Added some ribbon from my stash for decorations.  All paper was used from DCWV The Garden Party stack.

I think she will LOVE this.  I know I do!

I am entering this into Jinger Adams DT call over at The Scrapbooking Queen.

Here Comes the Sun

Hey all my crafty friends!!  Welcome to Michelle's Crafty Creations!!

It has been AGES since I have made anything AND posted!!  I had been busy moving my craft stuff into it's permanent home.  Let me tell you it has been a CRAZY time trying to get everything JUST so!!  BUT, I am thankful for my new craft room!!  Okay okay...onto the project....

Over at Cooking with Circut we were challenged to create a project using a spring song!  I LOVED the idea and knew right away which song I was going to use.  "Here Comes the Sun" is a song my friend had me listen to when I was about to face some serious challenges in my life.  I LOVE this version of it....

Isn't the cello BEAUTIFUL??!!!

I knew WHAT I wanted to do, but I needed a sketch to go by for inspiration.  I used Sketch #12 from Freshly Made Sketches.

I made this card with my dear friend in mind.  I want to send some sunshine her way!!

I LOVE how this came out!!!  Every time I see it, it makes me smile!!

To make this card I used:

Carts ~ Create a Critter for the cloud; Simply Charmed for the sun (all sized on my gypsy)
Stamps: K. Andrews sentiment from Splash-tastic Summer; and PKS Cheery O's Face assortment(they have a sale going on now through March 31st)
Misc: Pea Pod twine from The Twinery; Divine Swirls embossing; sticker from stash; SU ink for embossing, and white gelly roll pen for doodling.

Now it's your turn!!
