Altered Paint can..my very first one!

Hey fellow crafters!  I hope everyone is having a great Monday!  I wanted to share a project I have been working on for my niece's 15th birthday.  She likes to do crafts, so I got her a paint can, decorated it, and stuffed it with all kinds of goodies to get her started!

So heres the recipe:

Paint can ~Wal Mart (I know, I know, most people know I abhor WM...but they did have them on sale)

Paper ~ Blossoms and Butterflies and some plain solid card stock

Cartridges ~ Scallop and circle cuts from Storybook; letters cut from Winterwoodland

Misc~ SU paper piercer around scallops, inked around the scallops with cats eye chalk -chestnut, Fiskars edge punch, and ribbon from Su and my stash.  I used Tombow glue stick, modge podge, and adtech tape runner.

I hope you enjoy it.  I think the letters could use some stickles....just not sold on that idea yet!!  I am making one for my other niece so maybe I might be a little more daring!!  Let me know what you think about "spiffing" up the letters!! (or any other suggestions)

Thanks!
