I love you "Beary" Much

My first ever Gypsy created card.  Done quickly and gave me so much more inspiration on how to make this card even better!  I think he came out cute and a base for what I envisioned.  Now to move on to making it better.  more pictures to come!

Standing up
Lying down

To make this card I used:

Carts:  To cut the bear I used Create a Critter.  I used my gypsy to weld and mirror him so he could be folded in half.  I cut a lighter tan for the layered front.  I also welded the heart in blackout to my base card bear.  I used  Sweethearts for the heart weld, and the pink heart layer.

Stamps:  Stampin Up I love you sentiment from Short and Sweet

Ink: Memento around the heart.  Chestnut color from Colorbox around the bear.

Doodling with my black jelly roll pen.

Thank you all for your lovely comments about my cards.  Also thank you for your inspiration to do more with my gypsy!  I can NOT wait to bling this bear up on another project!!  Stay tuned!!

Love you shaker card... RRR Challenge #16

Here is another Valentine's Day card.  I made this for my husband and am entering this in the Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings Heart challenge #16. Click HERE!  The challenge was to create any card, layout, tag, ATC, hair bow, etc.  As long as it has ribbon and hearts!  I made a heart shaker card!

To make this card I used:

Cricut carts: Sweethearts for the small "candy" hearts in the center.  I cut them on blackout at 3/4 in. Accent Essentials for the heart frame and heart.  I cut that at 3 inches.  I then cut a blackout of the same heart at 3 1/4 in.
Paper: Pink, red, white, and black from my stash.
Stamp: I love you
Stickles: red for the heart on the stamp
Ribbon: From Michaels
Cuttlebug: Divine Swirls
Acetate and foam tape to make the shaker

Some doodling with my pink jelly roll pen and Lady bug red inking around sentiment
The mini hearts have handwritten messages to my husband! ;)

Oldies

I know I haven't posted in a couple of days, but can I just say BUS-AY!!!  Alright, I have been looking for some pictures I have done in the past.  This one I absolutely LOVE!!  It was a Father's Day "card" for my Dear Husband last year.

To make this card I used:

Dark brown Card Stock from my stash
Paper piercer from stampin Up for the "sewn" look around the edge
Black pen to trace along the dots
Tim Holtz distress hammer to add a textured look
Chocolate ink from SU to dab all over to give it a worn look
Stickers for Father's Day...popped up with foam stickers

I put letters from the kids in the folds.  I must say, I saw this idea from someone else, just accustomed it to my likings.

Sweethearts Cart for 9.99!

I can not believe I got a cart for 9.99!  I went to Joanns with my Michaels ad to get some carts.  One problem I did run into, is unfortuantely I got the store manager so he would only honor ONE. :(  He only gave me the Sweethearts cart because the picture was on the ad.  I had 7 that I wanted to get!  Oh well, I did get a cart for under 10 dollars! :) :)  Hopefully you all were able to get some carts for that price at your local Michaels!  Happy shopping!!

Check out this blog candy!

Nicole at Canadian Nickel Scrap'n is having a HUGE giveaway!  There are so many things she is giving away, I could not do justic to try to name it all.  You can CLICK HERE to check it all out!  Some things are a Hello Kitty Cart, Pink ATG, and NUMEROUS other goodies!!!  Check it out!!

Some snippets of my Scrapbook for my Gramps

So I am working on an album for my Grandpa.  He always sets up family reunions yearly.  This one is from Myrtle Beach, SC.  We tend to go there the most!!  While I have been scrapping this one, I just randomly crack up thinking about all the fun times and hysterically funny adventures we had.  It makes it that more enjoyable for me!!

For this page I used some textured card stock and inked it for dimension.  I used some stickles along the crest of the waves and popped it up with foam stickers.  I glossy accented the rubber ducky and used acetate for the goggles.

I found these awesome beach themed brads at Hobby Lobby made by Paper Studio.  I also used the 3D Beach sticker that had seashells and sand (all real) to make up the letters.  I drew the face on my doll.

Used some stickers I bought a loooong time ago and made a sandcastle.  I also inked the castle for dimension.  Used those same cute beach brads!

I cut this "road" out and made it into a waterslide.  Used some stickels for the water and cotton stretched out for the foam at the end of the ride.

These next pages were used with Creative Memories paper and stickers.  This was BEFORE I got my cricut!

Golfing is always a must for our family reunions.  The "non golfers" shop, enjoy the beach and pool or other fun stuff.
More pictures will be coming shortly.  I had these completed already.

I GOT A GYPSY!!!!!

Okay, so don't hate but I just got back from Michaels with my brand new 49.99 Gypsy!!!  yes, 49.99!!  How awesome is that?!  I have to say this, my friend posted on my FB wall about them being on sale at Michaels.  She said there were only 3 left!  So I went there and saw the three boxes.  I picked it up with a few other things I could use. (believe it or not, I did not buy ANY paper)  I went to the checkout, the lady went to the back of the store to get my Gypsy.  She came back and informed me that the manager said that they thought they were all out, but there was ONLY one left!!  AHHHHH!!!  She went to go get the other boxes off the shelf, and now I sit at home with my brand new gypsy!!  Oh yes, it is great!!!  Now I have to get busy and learn about it.  I have a feeling my DS will be lonely!! LOL

Nice Try

So I didn't win the MPS DT, but it was fun!  The work submitted by all was amazing!  There are some challenges I will be entering in the next couple of days that I am super excited about.  This will get my craft going on! ;)  Thank you to all who left such encouraging comments!  I appreciate them so much.
